Day 3 of Offroading – Breakfast in camp, may have been something from Ben’s truck.  After breaking camp and heading out, Tucker radios he has a flat tire.  We all stop and decide to air up the tire to see if it is a leak we can fix without taking the tire off.  No sign of a leak, but we test the valve core and air is bubbling out.  Most of us have the metal valve caps with gaskets, so we put one on for a temporary fix and headed out for the Devil’s Racetrack trail.  Tucker got to use his winch on one tough ledge.   After many tough ledges we stopped for lunch on the trail.  After lunch it was several miles of sandy wash, until we found the Eva Conover trail which was the exit to I-70.

Arriving at I-70 we aired up our tires for highway driving and took I-70 headed east on our way to Moab.  In Moab we set up camp at the Spanish Trail Arena where the Cruise Moab event is based.  The showers were great after two nights of dry camping.  I carry valve cores and a core tool so we replaced the valve core on Tucker’s tire for a permanent repair.  The old one looked like it had corroded.
Thursday night Cruise Moab has vendor night, so we checked out the new stuff vendors had on display and pick up some swag.  Ran into lots of old friends to catch up with, and trade offroad stories.
